We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Penny Lang.
Penny was a stalwart and in many ways a pioneer of the contemporary Canadian folk scene.
Apart from being one of the strongest performers we have witnessed over the years, she was one of the most generous musicians around.
She will be deeply missed by all who were touched by her presence whether from stage or in person.
